Job Description Location: North Nottingham Contract: Interim, Full-Time SF Partners are working exclusively with a well-established not-for-profit organisation in North Nottingham to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Manager.

This is a key leadership position within the organisation, reporting directly to the Finance Director and taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of the finance function. You will lead and develop an established finance team while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, robust financial controls and effective budgeting and forecasting.

You'll also work closely with managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing financial insight and supporting wider strategic projects. The Role As Interim Finance Manager,

your responsibilities will include

Leading, managing and developing the finance team, providing visible and supportive leadership Overseeing the preparation and review of monthly management accounts Ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to budget holders Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes Managing cash flow and maintaining effective financial controls Supporting audit requirements and ensuring high standards of financial reporting Ensuring compliance with relevant charity finance regulations and best practice Working collaboratively with managers and stakeholders across the organisation Supporting strategic financial planning, capital projects and service development Identifying opportunities to strengthen financial processes, systems and controls About You We're looking for an experienced finance professional who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent leadership and people-management skills.

You will ideally have: Significant experience within a broad finance role, including management accounts, audit and financial reporting A recognised accountancy qualification or substantial equivalent experience Proven experience of leading, developing and motivating a finance team Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management experience Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills The ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Knowledge of charity/not-for-profit finance, regulations and best practice would be highly advantageous This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys being a visible and supportive finance leader, with the ability to develop a team while maintaining strong financial operations.
