This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, ambitious and technically strong ACA / ACCA qualified accountant, ideally trained within a Big 4 / Top 10 practice, who's ready to take their technical expertise into industry and build a long-term finance career.
You'll be joining a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced, growing organisation, gaining exposure well beyond traditional financial accounting. The Opportunity Initially hands-on and technically focused, the position is designed to broaden as you develop, giving you increasing exposure to commercial finance, senior stakeholders and business-wide decision making.
Key responsibilities include
Review of management accounts and monthly financial reporting Ownership of balance sheet integrity and financial controls Statutory accounts preparation and audit support Exposure to complex and technical accounting matters Improving financial processes, controls and reporting Partnering with senior stakeholders and providing financial insight Supporting the wider finance team as the business continues to grow Who We're Looking For ACA / ACCA qualified Ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice Strong audit, accounting and technical reporting background Commercially curious and keen to broaden beyond pure technical accounting Self motivated, confident, personable and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders Ambitious and looking for genuine career progression Someone looking for the right, long term career move, not simply their next job Benefits Genuine career progression - this vacancy has arisen through internal promotion Flexible, hybrid working - 3 days on-site / 2 days work from home Enhanced pension 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Health & Life Insurance Exposure to senior leadership and commercial decision making Opportunity to develop alongside a growing business and finance function Next Steps This is a two-stage interview process, with interviews being arranged over the next couple of weeks.
