Forklift Driver Stoke-on-Trent - ST6 8am - 5pm (view to go to rotations) 40 Hours Per Week £13.50 per hour Temporary – Permanent *** Immediate Starts Available*** This role is based within a busy chemical waste yard environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and supporting general yard duties. This is an outdoor role, so candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Duties
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Loading and unloading vehicles Moving and organising chemical waste materials around the yard Ensuring all materials are stored correctly and safely Following strict health and safety procedures due to the nature of the products Supporting general yard duties as required Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment Working as part of a team to meet operational targets Experience: Must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance Forklift Licence Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck is essential Experience working within a yard or industrial environment is beneficial Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Happy to work on rotating shifts Awareness of health and safety procedures Reliable, punctual Musty be able to work rotating shift patterns as this will be the case once perm
