Job Description Role: Counterbalance Forklift DriverLocation: LlantrisantJob Type: PermanentHours: Monday -Thursday 6am 6pm for 4 weeks, and 4 out of 5 days thereafterSalary: £13 P/HWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy production operation in Llantrisant on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business, working within a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials across the site. Your duties will include: Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficientlyLoading and unloading vehiclesMoving and storing stock within the warehouseSupplying materials to production areasCompleting relevant paperwork and stock movementsMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safetyWorking as part of a wider warehouse and production teamAbout You: The successful candidate will ideally have: A valid Counterbalance Forklift LicencePrevious forklift experience, preferably within an FMCG, production, manufacturing, or warehouse environmentGood awareness of health and safety proceduresA reliable and hardworking approachGood attention to detailThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamworking and communication skillsWhat is on Offer: Permanent positionStable employment with an established businessOpportunities to develop within the businessA supportive team environment
