Job Description Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a skilled Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Colchester. This role would suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a Food Production Sector. Key ResponsibilitiesDuties will vary depending on operational requirements. Typical responsibilities include: Picking and packing ordersReceiving and dispatching goodsConducting inbound and outbound goods inspectionsPacking incoming stock away and rotating stock, including pallet handlingReviewing orders to ensure accuracyMaintaining warehouse health & safety procedures at all times, including housekeeping and equipment maintenanceMaintaining space efficiency within the warehouseCandidate RequirementsThe successful applicant will possess: A valid counterbalance forklift licenseRelevant experience in logistics or warehouse operationsThe ability to work independentlyA strong work ethicExcellent attention to detailBasic computer literacyThe ability to learn quicklyStrong organisational skillsGood communication skillsIf you are looking for your next opportunity, please apply today with your CV or contact our Colchester branch on 01206 484 106.
