Overview In this role you will deliver cloud-based Python AWS solutions for client bespoke projects, working closely with clients to own end-to-end delivery. You will join a growing tech scale-up building software that reduces para-legal workloads for legal firms.
You'll make technical decisions, work independently, and contribute to fast, impactful results. This position sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and client-facing delivery in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Pay / Benefits 25 days holiday Pension Hybrid working (Manchester office three days a week) Responsibilities Lead client bespoke development work end-to-end Build cloud-based applications and systems using Python and AWS Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders Make technical decisions and deliver results rapidly Operate with initiative in a small, growing team Key requirements Client-facing experience and ownership of bespoke development Strong Python backend development skills (ideally FastAPI) Experience with AWS, including Amazon CDK Solid understanding of DevOps principles Full software development lifecycle experience and modern best practices Business acumen with startup/SME experience Proactive, contributing to the product Degree in Computer Science or similar Active GitHub account and/or personal projects (preferred) client-facing proactive collaborative Python backend development FastAPI AWS (including CDK)
