Duties

As a General Manager, oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure all departments operate efficiently. Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve operational and commercial objectives. Monitor financial performance, sales targets and profitability.

Develop strategies to increase revenue and improve overall business performance. Maintain excellent customer service and high levels of customer satisfaction. Support recruitment, training and staff development. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturer representatives. Report on business performance and identify future growth opportunities. Working as a General Manager, provide effective leadership across the business while maintaining a clear commercial focus.

Requirements

Previous management experience within the automotive industry, either as a General Manager, Service Manager or Workshop Controller. Strong knowledge and understanding of the motor trade. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.

Experience managing budgets, profitability and performance targets. Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills. A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth. A full UK driving licence.
