p strong Head of Corporate Law (Mergers Acquisitions) /strong /p p strong Worcester | Hybrid Working | £100,000 DOE /strong /p p br /p p GMP Recruitment are proud to be supporting a highly respected Worcester based law firm for an experienced and commercially driven strong Head of Corporate Law /strong to lead its expanding corporate department, with a particular focus on strong mergers and acquisitions (M A) /strong .

This is a senior strategic position, combining high-level legal expertise with leadership and client development responsibilities. /p p br /p p To be considered for this position you must be a qualified solicitor in England Wales with significant PQE (5 years +) in corporate law and possess expert negotiation skills. /p p br /p p You will play a key role in shaping the firm’s corporate practice, advising on complex transactions, and building long-term relationships with corporate clients across the UK. /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Lead and oversee all corporate law matters, with emphasis on M A transactions /li li Advise clients on acquisitions, disposals, restructuring, and joint ventures /li li Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and transactional agreements /li li Manage due diligence processes and transaction structuring /li li Develop and grow the corporate client portfolio /li li Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and associates /li li Work closely with partners on strategic firm development /li li Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards /li /ul p br /p p strong Candidate Requirements /strong /p ul li Qualified solicitor in England Wales with significant PQE in corporate law /li li Strong track record in mergers and acquisitions (mid-market or above preferred) /li li Proven leadership or team management experience /li li Excellent negotiation, drafting, and client-facing skills /li li Commercially minded with strong business development capability /li li Ability to manage high-value, complex transactions under pressure /li /ul p br /p p strong Salary Benefits /strong /p p Our client offers an excellent package including: /p ul li Competitive salary circa strong £100,000+ /strong depending on experience /li li Leadership role with genuine influence over departmental strategy /li li Opportunity to build and shape a growing corporate practice /li li Supportive and ambitious firm environment /li li Hybrid and flexible working options /li li Performance-related bonuses (where applicable) /li /ul p br /p p For further information or a confidential discussion, please click apply. /p p GMP Recruitment Agency Ltd agency are recruiting for this role on behalf of our client and are acting as a Recruitment Agency /p p br /p
