Job Description Head of MarketingOur client, a successful tech scale-up and cash generative SME, with a £10m turnover and employing 100 staff, is looking to double in size in the next five years under the guidance of its experienced, highly charismatic and driven Founder and Executive Team.
Their B2C Health & Fitness platform provides individualised coaching plans that deliver tangible improvements in nutrition, exercise and lifestyle. This is supplemented by a physical product range incorporating branded protein powders, clothing and accessories.
They now seek to appoint a Head of Marketing to own the overall marketing strategy and roadmap across wholesale, trade, retail B2B, D2C, e-commerce and export. Your specific responsibilities as Head of Marketing will include: Driving traffic, customer acquisition and brand growthOwning the strategy, budget and performance of the Marketing departmentTranslating business and commercial objectives into a clear, prioritised marketing planIdentifying new channels, markets and opportunities to drive growthLeading the paid media, content/social, email/CRM and brand functionsHolding the paid media and performance marketing team accountable for ROAS, CPA and customer acquisition targetsReviewing and approving paid media strategy and budget allocation across Meta, Google, TikTok and other platformsOwning brand positioning and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and marketsOverseeing content and social strategyDirecting creative and content outputOwning the email and CRM marketing strategy, including lifecycle, retention and segmentationEnsuring email and CRM activity is measured against open rates, click-through rates and revenue contributionDirecting integration of email/CRM activity with paid, content and e-commerce plansPartnering closely with the Head of E-commerce to ensure marketing and website activity are fully alignedWorking with Sales to support wholesale, trade and retail B2B marketingCoordinating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Distribution on product launches and promotional planningProviding performance insights, forecasts and recommendations to senior leadershipAs Head of Marketing you will need experience of: Several years in a senior leadership or head-of-department roleLeading a multi-disciplinary marketing team (e.g. paid media, content/social, email/CRM, brand)Owning and managing a marketing budget, with clear accountability for ROIBoth digital and offline marketing channelsE-commerce and D2C marketingFitness, health or lifestyle brands (preferable)Working in a fast-growing or founder-led business (desirable)Rewards & benefits :Salary: £70-80k25 days holiday + bank holidaysFree on-site gymEmployee discountsEnhanced sick pay schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity payPleasenote: Highlevelsofinterestmeanthatwewillonlycontactyouifyourapplicationisshortlistedandthiswillhappenwithinfiveworkingdays.
