Job Description FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading Construction / Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a Health & Safety Advisor to join their project team in Perth & Kinross. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Salary Highly competitive, depending on experience + Growth Opportunities Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day Health & Safety advice and support to site management and operational teams. Promote a positive safety culture across the project.
Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and client standards. Carry out daily and weekly site inspections. Coordinate safety documentation, briefings and inspections. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and communicate lessons learned.
Review method statements and other project documentation for appropriate Health & Safety content. Deliver toolbox talks covering health, safety and wellbeing. Support health and wellbeing campaigns across the workforce. Manage and support implementation of the project’s ISO 45001 Safety Management System.
Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction or civil engineering. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confident working independently and challenging unsafe practices where necessary.
Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Full UK driving licence. What’s on Offer Permanent, full-time position. Comprehensive training and development. 25 days’ annual leave plus public holidays. Company pension.
