Healthcare Assistant (Days Nights). Oak Springs Care Home 12.76 per hour Day shifts: 8:00am 8:00pm (33 hours per week) Night shifts: 8:00pm 8:00am (44 hours per week) Full-time contracts available on both days and nights depending on your preference Be Part of Something Meaningful Oak Springs Care Home is looking for caring dedicated individuals to join our team and help create a positive and enriching experience for our residents every day.
Located in Wavertree Oak Springs is a modern purpose-built care home providing residential dementia and short-stay care in a luxurious and welcoming setting. Home to 74 residents our service is designed to encourage independence wellbeing and social connection with outstanding facilities and a vibrant programme of activities.
We re seeking people who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and building genuine relationships with older people. Whether you re experienced in care or looking to develop a rewarding career within the sector we d love to hear from you.
What You ll Be Doing As a healthcare assistant you ll play an important role in supporting residents to live comfortably confidently and with dignity. Your duties will include: Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks Assisting with eating drinking and maintaining good nutrition Providing companionship reassurance and emotional support Encouraging participation in activities hobbies and social events Promoting independence wherever possible Monitoring resident wellbeing and reporting any concerns Maintaining accurate records and following care plans Working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional standards of care Contributing to a safe clean and welcoming environment What are we looking for We re seeking individuals who bring warmth empathy and enthusiasm to everything they do.
You ll ideally have: A kind respectful and compassionate approach A genuine desire to support older people Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliability and a positive team-focused attitude Previous care experience (preferred but not essential) Flexibility and a willingness to learn and develop Sandstone employees enjoy a range of
