HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team at the Tesco Distribution Centre in Doncaster , supporting our busy General Haulage operation. This role involves completing store and RDC deliveries across the region and is ideal for professional drivers who take pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and delivering high standards every day.

your responsibilities will include

Delivering to Distribution Centres and retail stores across the region Supporting store delivery work, including occasional loading and unloading of cages Completing trunking routes, drop and swaps, and general haulage assignments Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and completing all relevant paperwork Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism Working closely with the transport team to ensure efficient operations Complying with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and Tachograph legislation Job requirements
