Job Description Job Description Location: Burnley Salary: £35K per annum Contract: 9-12 Month FTCALF Recruit is delighted to be supporting a well-established, values-led organisation in the recruitment of an HR Advisor on fixed term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers, providing practical advice and managing a varied Employee Relations caseload.

Ther Role: As HR Advisor, youll provide a high-quality HR advisory service across a diverse group of businesses, working closely with HR Business Partners and the wider People team. Its a busy and varied position where priorities can change quickly, so youll need to be confident managing multiple cases, working independently and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
Youll be responsible for: Providing practical and legally compliant HR advice to managers across the organisationManaging a varied Employee Relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and organisational changeBuilding strong relationships with managers and colleagues across multiple sitesSupporting HR Business Partners with wider people projects and organisational prioritiesAdvising managers through organisational change and helping them understand the people implicationsEnsuring HR policies, employment legislation and regulatory requirements are consistently followedIdentifying trends and opportunities to improve HR processes and people practicesContributing to change programmes and wider People initiativesManaging a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and sound judgementProfile: Were looking for an experienced HR professional who can hit the ground running and is comfortable operating in a busy, people-focused environment.
Ideally, youll have: Strong Employee Relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and organisational changeCIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experienceGood knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceExperience managing a high-volume and complex caseloadExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsThe confidence to advise and influence managers at all levelsStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demandsA proactive, solutions-focused approachStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft OfficeResilience, professional credibility and sound judgementA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as the role involves regular travel across services in Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
