Ther Role: As HR Advisor, youll provide a high-quality HR advisory service across a diverse group of businesses, working closely with HR Business Partners and the wider People team. Its a busy and varied position where priorities can change quickly, so youll need to be confident managing multiple cases, working independently and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
Youll be responsible for: * Providing practical and legally compliant HR advice to managers across the organisation * Managing a varied Employee Relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and organisational change * Building strong relationships with managers and colleagues across multiple sites * Supporting HR Business Partners with wider people projects and organisational priorities * Advising managers through organisational change and helping them understand the people implications * Ensuring HR policies, employment legislation and regulatory requirements are consistently followed * Identifying trends and opportunities to improve HR processes and people practices * Contributing to change programmes and wider People initiatives * Managing a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and sound judgement Profile: Were looking for an experienced HR professional who can hit the ground running and is comfortable operating in a busy, people-focused environment.
Ideally, youll have: * Strong Employee Relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and organisational change * CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience * Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice * Experience managing a high-volume and complex caseload * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * The confidence to advise and influence managers at all levels * Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands * A proactive, solutions-focused approach * Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office * Resilience, professional credibility and sound judgement A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as the role involves regular travel across services in Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
