Job Description HR Manager Vacancy, Ulverston3 or 4 days per weekPermanent, Hybrid£50,000-£55,000 (FTE)HR Recruit are partnering with an industrial organisation looking to recruit a stand alone HR Manager for an SME in Ulverston, Cumbria.
The role reports into the Managing Director. The client will consider candidates looking to work 3 or 4 days per week and there is the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week. The purpose of the role is to partner with managers and employees across all departments while supporting strategic and operational HR activities.
Role ResponsibilitiesLead employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the business, promoting a positive and inclusive working environmentProvide practical HR advice, coaching and support to managersManage disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management processesEnsure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practiceLead recruitment activities from workforce planning through to onboardingSupport learning and development activities across the businessIdentify development opportunities for employees and managersAct as the primary HR contact for employees and managersMaintain HR policies, procedures and employee documentationMonitor HR metrics and provide reporting and insights to support decision-makingPerson SpecificationAt least 5 years previous HR experience.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceExperience managing employee relations matters across the full employee lifecycleExperience in recruitment, onboarding and people development activitiesExcellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently while building strong relationships across the businessFamiliarity with HR systems, reporting and people analyticsIn return you will receive a salary between 50-55K (Pro rata) plus bonus and excellent benefits.
