Infrastructure Engineer MSP - 3rd Line - Escalations - Projects We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Stockport. This is a great opportunity to work across a variety of client environments, supporting and delivering infrastructure, networking, and cloud projects.

Role Overview Support and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure across multiple client environments. Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies. Support datacentre infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.

Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, VPNs, and network connectivity. Administer Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments. Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technical projects. Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

Requirements Proven Infrastructure Engineer experience, ideally within an MSP. Strong knowledge of on-remise infrastructure, Windows Server, VMware and/or Hyper-V. Hands-on datacentre, server, and storage experience. Solid networking skills, including firewalls, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPNs.

Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Azure. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing skills. What's Offered Exposure to varied infrastructure and cloud technologies. Opportunity to work on technical projects and migrations.
