Job Description Senior Finance Manager Edinburgh, 4 month Contract Opportunity A highly successful and fast-growing business is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join its finance team in Edinburgh. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a broad and commercially focused senior finance position offering exposure across a complex group structure and a range of investment products.
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strategic planning and the ongoing development of the finance function. The Role This position combines hands-on financial control responsibilities with strategic oversight and leadership.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information to support decision-making whilst ensuring robust governance and compliance across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly group management accounts Manage multi-entity consolidations and group cost analysis Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance against targets and highlighting key variances Manage the annual statutory accounts process across multiple entities Lead external audits and manage auditor relationships Monitor capital adequacy requirements and prepare regulatory returns Oversee Companies House filings and governance documentation Oversee reporting, audit and tax compliance Maintain robust financial controls and drive continuous improvement across the finance function About You ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification Significant post-qualified experience in a senior finance position Our client is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status or pregnancy and maternity.
