IT Support Engineer

This is a varied, user-facing role supporting colleagues with day-to-day technical issues, service requests and device setup across multiple sites. You'll be the first point of contact for IT support, taking ownership of tickets from initial diagnosis through to resolution or escalation.

It's a good opportunity for someone with service desk experience who enjoys troubleshooting, helping users and developing their technical skills. What you'll be doingResponding to IT incidents and service requests by phone, email and through the ticketing systemTroubleshooting Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, email and common software issuesManaging user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365Configuring and deploying laptops, desktops, mobile devices and printersInstalling software and supporting device updatesKeeping tickets and technical documentation accurate and up to dateSpotting recurring issues and working with the wider IT team on lasting fixesProviding occasional on-site support at other locationsWhat we're looking forExperience in a service desk, desktop support or IT support roleGood working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365Exposure to Active Directory user administrationConfidence troubleshooting hardware, software and access issuesFamiliarity with a ticketing systemClear communication skills and a helpful approach to supporting usersA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites when neededIf you're looking for a hands-on IT support role where you can build your experience across a broad technology environment, get in touch to find out more.
