Junior Engineering Technologist

Overview

In this role you will join a well-established team to contribute to product development and technical problem-solving in a hands-on environment. You will train across development, testing and CAD, progressively taking on more responsibility as you grow. The role sits at the intersection of engineering and practical application, supporting the company’s fibre optic focus within a growing organisation. You will work closely with experienced engineers to shape solutions and gain long-term progression.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training across product development, testing and engineering
• Technical problem-solving, diagnostics and data analysis
• CAD work and technical documentation
• Collaborating with experienced engineers with long-term progression opportunities

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (essential)
• 1-5 years of experience preferred, graduates considered
• Strong maths skills, technically minded and a natural problem solver
• Basic CAD skills and willingness to learn
• Commutable to Swindon with a full UK driving licence
