Overview As a Junior Python Engineer, you contribute to back-end development for a fintech client focused on funding small businesses. You work in a fast-paced, agile environment that values open-source exploration and practical experimentation.
You'll shape architecture by prototyping new technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teammates. Pay / Benefits remote 4 days a week Responsibilities Coordinate with team to determine application requirements Test and debug applications Develop back-end components Assess and prioritise client feature requests Deploy applications Integrate applications with third-party services Write effective and scalable Python code Administer and improve existing applications Key requirements 1-5 years of Python development experience BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field expert knowledge of Python-related frameworks such as Flask knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) Python Flask ORM SQL API development containerised deployments on Cloud
