Maintenance Electrician

Connect Appointments is recruiting an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join an established technical manufacturing business based in Forfar. Our client is part of an established international manufacturing group, operating a large production facility in Angus with a strong reputation for quality and innovation across their sector.

What's on offer? Full-time permanent position Up to 50,000 per annum Three shift rotation across days, backs and nights: Day shift: 07:00 to 15:00 or 08:00 to 16:00 Back shift: 15:00 to 23:00 or 16:00 to 00:00 Night shift: 00:00 to 08:00 48-hour on-call period required one weekend in five As a Maintenance Electrician, your duties will include: Organising and prioritising maintenance work on a shift-by-shift basis Installation of plant and machinery Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns Carrying out portable appliance testing Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times To be considered as a Maintenance Electrician, you will need: A time-served electrical background or educated to Higher National Certificate or City and Guilds level Additional training or knowledge in the mechanical discipline is advantageous Working knowledge of current Electrical Regulations The ability to work on your own initiative with strong communication skills Interested in this Maintenance Electrician role?
