An international software company in Central Sheffield have an excellent opportunity for a part or qualified accountant who wants exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities within a dynamic, supportive and fast-paced environment.

Ownership of a portfolio of entities, including oversight of more junior team members' entities to ensure consistency and quality. Ensuring adherence to month end procedures and timescales in order to meet Group reporting commitments.

Oversight of certain entities' expense invoices, ensuring allocation of cash is completed in a timely manner. Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of Group and local Statutory audits, acting as the key point of contact for auditors.

Reviewing audit deliverables prepared by the team before submission, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and deadlines are met. Identifying and driving process improvements across the entities within their portfolio. Ad hoc projects as required by management.

The Person ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. Proven experience within a finance team, including experience reviewing the work of others. Experience leading or playing a key role in statutory audits. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is required.
