Material Planner Location: Goole Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 40 hours per week Flexible hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Material Planner to join a dynamic supply chain and operations team.
This is a pivotal role responsible for driving material demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and inventory optimisation across multiple projects and operational programmes. Working closely with stakeholders across operations, commercial, project management, procurement, and supply chain functions, you will ensure materials are forecasted, planned, and scheduled effectively to support business requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
You will play a key role in improving forecasting methodologies, enhancing planning processes, and supporting the transition towards greater automation and efficiency within the planning function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex planning challenges, and influencing operational performance through effective material management.
