Mechanical Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Mechanical Bias Contract Manager to oversee the successful delivery of technical services contracts. This role is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites, supporting site based and remote operatives, and driving commercial performance.

About the Role This role would be well suited to either an experienced Mechanical Contract Manager or a technically competent Mechanical Engineer who is looking to take the next step into a Contract Management role. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, combining strong technical expertise with client relationship management, commercial awareness and operational delivery.

They will be responsible for ensuring contractual obligations are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably, while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, drive sustainable solutions and support business growth.

Responsibilities Contract Management Support clients throughout all aspects of contract implementation and delivery Maintain a thorough understanding of current works in progress (WIP), planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, site requirements, and client expectations Monitor contract performance, profitability, and commercial viability Ensure service delivery meets contractual and operational standards Identify opportunities for service improvements and contract development Prepare and issue quotations for additional works Provide technical guidance and support to clients and operatives Develop specifications for materials, plant, upgrades, repairs, and refurbishment projects.
