Job Description Mechanical Engineer Location: Rochester, Kent Salary: £43,000 - £47,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent About the Role Our client, an established organisation within the Environmental Services sector, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team based in Rochester, Kent.

The successful candidate will support a variety of engineering activities, working closely with internal teams, clients and stakeholders to help deliver high-quality engineering solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the delivery of mechanical engineering projects and activities. Carry out site visits, inspections and surveys as required. Support the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders. Attend meetings and provide engineering input where required. Assist with problem solving and technical support activities. Ensure work is completed in line with company procedures and industry standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainable working practices. Support project delivery from inception through to completion. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Requirements Previous Mechanical Engineering experience.
Mechanical Engineering Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent qualification preferred. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively. Professional and client-focused approach.
Good problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full UK Driving Licence preferred. Location Requirement Candidates must be able to reliably commute to and work on-site in Rochester, Kent.
