Mechanical Project ManagerMechanical Project ManagerProject Location: Northwest & West YorkshireOffice Location: SalfordSalary: 50,000 - 60,000Package: 5k Car Allowance, Company Bonus, Mileage, Healthcare, 25 Holidays + Bank HolidaysAn established construction and interior fit out business specialising in CAT A & B fit out projects is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team.
The business delivers projects for a range of commercial clients, with projects primarily across the Northwest and West Yorkshire. Projects range from 500k to 15m.You will take responsibility for the mechanical element of major commercial fit outs across multiple projects and work closely with the wider operational, design and commercial teams.
The business has a practical and collaborative approach, with Mechanical Project Managers trusted to take ownership of their packages and work closely with both internal engineers and external subcontractors depending on the requirements of each project.
The RoleAs Mechanical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of the mechanical element across multiple CAT A & B fit out projects. Responsibilities will include: Managing the full mechanical package across multiple live fit out projectsPlanning and coordinating mechanical works from design development through to completionManaging internal engineers and external mechanical subcontractorsProducing and managing project programmes using Microsoft ProjectCoordinating mechanical services with other building elements and resolving clashesManaging procurement and subcontractor ordersMonitoring project progress, costs and variationsAttending project progress meetings and working closely with the wider project teamManaging commissioning, snagging and handover of mechanical worksEnsuring mechanical works are delivered safely to programme and to the required standardRequirementsProven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally within commercial or industrial projectsMechanical Engineer by trade or degree in Mechanical EngineeringStrong understanding of mechanical installation, coordination and commissioningStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCSCS card, SMSTS, Full UK driving licencePackage5k Car AllowanceCompany BonusMileageHealthcare Cash Plan with Westfield25 Holidays + Bank HolidaysExtra day off for your birthdayPension up to 8% matchedEnhanced sick leave, dependant on length of serviceGroup life assurance at 4x annual salaryEnhanced maternity/paternity leaveCritical Illness CoverColleague referral scheme Location: Manchester | Salary: 50000 - 60000 per year | Job type: Permanent | Posted: 13/08/2026
