Job Description Programming experience is essential to be successful for this role; it will be part of the interview. We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller & Programmer to join our well-established client, who are rapidly growing due to much success.

This opportunity is working PM Shifts: 4pm - 2pm Monday - Wednesday 4pm - 1pm Thursdays Fridays Off (3 day weekend) This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of precision-engineered components using modern CNC machinery in a clean, well-equipped manufacturing environment. ------------------------------------------------------ What's In It For You?

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision-engineered components safely, efficiently and accurately. Programming experience is essential for this role. --------------------------------------------------------

What You'll Be Doing

Create, edit and optimise CNC milling programmes Produce first-off components to engineering drawing specifications Modify and improve existing programmes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency Maintain programme documentation and backups Setting & Operating: Set and operate CNC milling machines Select appropriate tooling and fixtures Manufacture one-off and batch components to tight tolerances Carry out tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments ------------------------------------------------------- Essential Experience Needed: Proven experience as a CNC Miller CAD/CAM Programming experience is essential Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Excellent attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills and a positive attitude Desirable Experience: Experience with Hurco, Haas, Mazak or Fanuc controls.

Experience operating Haas and Matsuura machinery. Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
