MOBILE NIGHTSHIFT HGV TECHNICIAN – £55K + VAN Clackmannanshire Permanent Position Up to £55k Basic Salary Company Van Provided Permanent Nightshift 4 Nights per Week Sunday–Wednesday or Monday–Thursday JOB DESCRIPTION Looking for a high-paying HGV Technician role that gives you a permanent 4-night working week, a company van and strong long-term earning potential?

We are recruiting an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to cover the Clackmannanshire area on a permanent nightshift basis. This is a mobile engineering position where you will carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles, working independently while having the backing of an established engineering operation.

Two working patterns are available, giving suitable candidates the option of Sunday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday.

Your responsibilities will include

* Carrying out mobile servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs * Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults * Responding to vehicle defects and breakdowns * Completing preventative maintenance and safety inspections * Identifying and repairing worn or defective components * Ensuring vehicles meet required DVSA and company standards * Completing maintenance records and job documentation accurately * Managing your workload efficiently across the mobile operating area * Maintaining your company van, tools and equipment to a high standard DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To be considered, you should ideally have: * Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic * NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent Heavy Vehicle qualification * Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills * The ability to work independently in a mobile environment * Good knowledge of DVSA inspection and maintenance standards * A full UK driving licence * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Previous mobile or roadside engineering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

SHIFT OPTIONS Permanent nightshift working four nights per week. Option 1: Sunday to Wednesday Option 2: Monday to Thursday Exact nightly start and finish times will be discussed with suitable candidates.
