Coleshill, Birmingham £35,000 £45,000 basic + uncapped commission MondayFriday, 8:30am5:00pm | No weekends Office based | All leads provided | No cold calling An established and highly regarded specialist mortgage brokerage is looking to appoint an experienced Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Adviser to join its growing team in Coleshill.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CeMAP-qualified Mortgage Adviser who already has experience dealing with adverse credit and complex mortgage cases and wants to work in an environment where leads are provided, earning potential is uncapped and there is no requirement to cold call or prospect for business.
The business specialises in cases that often fall outside standard high-street lending criteria, including clients who have previously been refused a mortgage, have adverse credit, are self-employed or work as contractors.
AMS describes complex and adverse cases as a core part of its day-to-day mortgage business. The Role You will manage mortgage enquiries from clients across the UK, providing specialist mortgage advice and identifying appropriate solutions for more complex circumstances.
Importantly, all leads are provided . This is not a cold-calling or prospecting role.
You will
Advise clients on specialist residential mortgage solutions Manage adverse credit and complex mortgage cases Work with clients who may have CCJs, defaults, historic credit issues or previous mortgage declines Advise self-employed and contractor clients with more complex income structures Assess client circumstances and affordability before recommending suitable solutions Manage cases efficiently from initial enquiry through to application Build strong relationships with clients, lenders and internal colleagues Identify appropriate protection opportunities alongside mortgage advice Maintain excellent compliance and customer-service standards Manage a strong pipeline of business in a busy, high-volume environment What Were Looking For This role would suit an experienced Mortgage Adviser who enjoys finding solutions for cases that aren't always straightforward. requirements
Fully CeMAP / MAQ qualified Qualification must have been held for at least 12 months Minimum 1 years mortgage advisory experience Proven adverse credit mortgage experience this is essential Experience dealing with complex mortgage applications Strong knowledge of the mortgage application process Excellent telephone and client communication skills Strong organisation and pipeline-management skills Resilient, positive and commercially driven Comfortable working in a busy, target-driven environment Strong team-player mentality Applications from brokers whose experience is solely mainstream/high-street mortgages without adverse-credit exposure are unlikely to be suitable.
