We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will support the maintenance, testing, installation, and repair of electrical systems across a busy hospital environment, ensuring essential services remain safe, compliant, and operational. Role

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical systems, plant, and equipment. Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and standby power systems.

Complete electrical testing, inspections, and certification in line with current regulations and healthcare standards. Install, modify, and commission electrical systems, containment, wiring, and distribution boards. Support critical hospital services while maintaining high standards of health, safety, compliance, and customer service. Required

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role. City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent).18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).Experience maintaining commercial or healthcare electrical systems with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
