This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value, complex transactional construction matters within a nationally recognised practice. The RoleYou will join a market leading construction team advising on major UK projects across sectors including education, housing, government, health, leisure, highways and energy.

Responsibilities include: Drafting, negotiating and advising on construction and project documentation (JCT, NEC and bespoke forms)Advising on professional appointments, collateral warranties and security documents (performance bonds, PCGs)Providing clear, commercial advice on risk allocation and bespoke contractual solutionsManaging transactions from instruction to completion, coordinating with clients, funders, in house counsel and project stakeholdersKeeping up to date with legal and market developments and contributing to know how, training and client briefingsBuilding strong client relationships and supporting business development initiativesCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:5+ years' PQE in non contentious constructionStrong experience drafting and negotiating JCT/NEC contracts and related documentationFamiliarity with collateral warranties, performance bonds and parent company guaranteesA commercial, pragmatic approach to risk and client adviceExcellent drafting skills and attention to detailConfidence managing your own caseload with appropriate supervisionStrong communication skills and the ability to build long term client relationshipsA collaborative, team focused mindsetAn interest in the construction sector and the work of regional and national clientsA positive, proactive attitude and willingness to engage in BD and networkingCareer prospects are excellent, with the team continuing to grow and clear pathways for progression.
