This is a rare chance to build a meaningful career within a highly respected department that supports service personnel and their families when they have suffered avoidable illness or injury during military service. The RoleYou'll join a busy, well established claimant litigation team handling a varied caseload of military related personal injury matters.

The work is sensitive, complex and genuinely impactful. Your caseload will include: Military injury claims, including clinical negligence and industrial diseaseCarcinogenic exposure cases linked to military serviceDrafting pleadings, witness statements and reviewing medical evidencePreparing schedules of loss and instructing relevant expertsAdvising clients on complex and often sensitive issuesLiaising with Counsel and attending conferencesManaging claims from initial enquiry through to settlementSupporting wider PI and clinical negligence teams where neededSupervising junior fee earners (depending on experience)Candidate RequirementsThe team is looking for someone who brings both technical ability and the right personal qualities.

You will ideally have: NQ-4 PQE with experience in personal injury, clinical negligence or related litigationConfidence managing your own caseload and working to deadlinesExcellent client care skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathyStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA proactive, ambitious and self motivated approachStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaborativelyWhy JoinYou'll be part of a respected national firm where the culture is supportive and with a genuine commitment to professional development.
