CACHE Level 3 Nursery Manager Location: Bromley, BR1, South East London Working Days: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week Working Hours: 8am – 6pm Pay Rate: Depending on experience About the Role We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead an up-and-coming nursery in Bromley, BR1.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, lead and support staff, ensure high standards of childcare and safeguarding, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm.
Strong leadership, reliability and EYFS knowledge are essential. Vacancy for Room Lead & Deputy Manager are also available. Key Responsibilities Oversee the overall day-to-day running and management of the nursery. Lead, manage and motivate staff, ensuring effective team performance.
Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements. Monitor children's learning, development and overall wellbeing. Build strong relationships with parents, staff and external professionals.
Manage staff recruitment, training, appraisals and performance. Maintain nursery records, policies, procedures and quality standards. Manage budgets, resources and occupancy levels. Ensure the nursery provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Essential Requirements A recognised CACHE Level 3 qualification in childcare or a relevant equivalent. A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service. Relevant safeguarding and child protection training for working with children.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school or childcare setting. Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach. Punctuality, reliability and a professional attitude. What We Offer Competitive pay depending on experience.
