Operations Assistant

Location: Newport Salary: £15,862.08 per annum Hours: 24 hours per week Storage Giant is one of the UK's leading self-storage providers, with 16 stores across the UK and exciting plans for further growth. We are looking for a motivated, organised and proactive Operations Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of our business.

The Role Working closely with the General Manager and Operations Team, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across our 16 stores.

Your responsibilities will include

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the business Monitoring store compliance and carrying out audit checks Managing staff rotas, annual leave and sickness records Preparing weekly reports and competitor analysis Supporting Store Managers with operational requirements Logging and monitoring maintenance issues and liaising with contractors Supporting customer service standards and monitoring feedback Providing occasional cover at stores when required What We're Looking For Previous experience in a retail or operational environment Excellent organisational and administrative skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Strong communication skills and attention to detail A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and use initiative The ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to support our stores when required What's In It for You?
