This is a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day. You will support her with all aspects of daily living, while helping her to enjoy life, build confidence, access activities and get the most out of her time with family and the wider community.
ABOUT YOUEvery day is different, and companionship is a really important part of this role. We are looking for someone who can build a genuine, trusting and supportive relationship with our client, as well as providing practical support.
Your role will include: Supporting with all aspects of personal careSupporting with all aspects of moving and handlingPEG feeding and PEG careAdministering medicationSupporting access to day centres, activities and the local communityProviding companionship and meaningful interactionSupporting her to live life to the fullPrevious experience of supporting someone in their own home is preferred but not essential.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is caring, patient, dependable and genuinely wants to make a difference. Full training will be provided. If you have the right attitude and a passion for supporting others, we would love to hear from you.
HOURSThis position is offered on a flexible/bank basis, with shifts available according to the needs of the individual and the wider team. There may be opportunities for regular shifts, as well as occasional or bank work, making this role particularly suitable for someone looking for flexibility around other commitments.
Please note that the hours are not currently fixed and will be discussed with successful applicants.
