Should have hands on experience in UKG Pro implementation projects in configuring Timekeeping, Attendance & Accruals, Scheduling, Advance SchedulingYour roleAs a Principal Consultant, you will provide strategic and delivery leadership for UKG Pro workforce management implementations, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
You will lead complex, multi-module implementations covering Timekeeping, Attendance & Accruals, Scheduling, and Advanced Scheduling, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business and organizational goals.
You will be responsible for driving solution architecture, defining best practices, and designing complex workflows, rules, policies, and integrations with other HR and payroll systems. In this role, you will translate business requirements into optimized UKG Pro configurations, troubleshoot high-impact issues, and guide teams through successful delivery.
Additionally, you will mentor senior consultants, review technical designs and documentation, support governance and quality assurance, and contribute to stakeholder communication, training strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will serve as a UKG Pro subject matter expert, ensuring excellence across implementation, optimization, and post-go-live support. ResponsibilitiesUKG Pro WFM Solution LeadershipLead full lifecycle UKG Pro WFM implementations, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‐go‐live stabilizationServe as the WFM solution architect, ensuring configurations align with business strategy, compliance needs, and scalability requirementsDefine and enforce implementation standards, governance models, and best practicesConfiguration & Functional ExpertiseHands‐on configuration expertise across: TimekeepingAttendance & LeaveAccrual management (complex accrual rules, carryovers, caps, proration)Scheduling & Advanced SchedulingShift differentials, premiums, and overtime rulesBIRT reportingSound knowledge on Dell Boomi & interface related KPIsDesign and implement: Advanced pay rules, work rules, schedules, and labor categoriesComplex workflows, approvals, validations, and exception handlingUnion, non-union, and country/region-specific rule setsAdvanced Workforce Management CapabilitiesConfigure and optimize: Workforce forecasting and demand planningLabor optimization and compliance trackingMulti-location and multi-legal-entity workforce modelsAdvise on best practices for: Workforce productivityCost controlRegulatory compliance (pay rules, working hours, leave laws)Integrations & Technical DesignLead and support UKG Pro integrations with: HR CorePayrollFinance and third-party systemsAnalyze integration requirements and collaborate with technical teams on: Inbound/outbound data flowsFile-based and API-based integrationsTroubleshoot and resolve complex data synchronization and configuration issuesStakeholder & Client EngagementPartner with senior business leaders, HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into UKG Pro WFM solutionsAct as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance beyond system configurationLead workshops, blueprint sessions, and solution reviewsTeam Leadership & MentorshipProvide technical and functional leadership to junior consultantsReview solution designs and configurations to ensure quality and consistencyMentor team members on advanced UKG Pro WFM concepts and implementation approachesTraining & EnablementDesign and deliver: End‐user trainingAdministrator and super-user trainingDevelop reusable training materials, user guides, and configuration documentationDocumentation & SupportCreate and maintain: Solution design documentsConfiguration workbooksIntegration specificationsLead issue resolution for complex WFM defects and production issuesSupport post‐implementation optimization and continuous improvement initiativesRequiredShould have minimum 11-13 years of experience with UKG Pro (or similar workforce management systems).PreferredExperience in Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Workforce Dimensions Implementation and Migrations with Dell Boomi expertise.
Knowledge of modules like Scheduling, Timekeeping, Analytics, Global Time Off, Accruals, Attestation, Activities, DevicesExperience in configuring Pay rules, Work rules, Labor Level Transfers, Adjustment Rules and Wages, Exceptions, Holiday Profiles, Holiday Credit RulesExperience in technical development and support of Interfaces with Dell Boomi knowledge.
