Role & ResponsibilitiesAdvise design teams and clients on health and safety risk management in line with CDM regulationsLead and develop the Principal Designer function across projects within the organisationReview designs and projects to ensure consistent pre construction health and safety standardsCoordinate and manage pre construction information and client documentation requirementsOversee health and safety aspects during pre construction phases across multiple projectsPrepare and issue health and safety files upon project completion in line with regulationsDevelop internal guidance materials and deliver training across design disciplinesCritically review design risk assessments and support teams in improving safety complianceSkills & Experience Required Strong understanding of design and construction management methodologies within consultancy environmentsProven experience delivering CDM and health and safety consultancy services across projectsBackground within architecture, construction, or related consultancy disciplinesNEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent IOSH membership with APS affiliationExperience leading Principal Designer or CDM teams within project environmentsDegree qualified in architecture, architectural technology, construction, or engineeringStrong communication skills to engage with clients, consultants, and project stakeholdersExperience working on heritage or conservation projects is advantageousSalary & BenefitsSalary up to 65,000 depending on experience and level25 days annual leave increasing with service up to 30 daysHybrid working arrangement to support flexible working patternsLife assurance and additional employee wellbeing benefitsCycle to work scheme and season ticket loan options availableEyecare vouchers and optional healthcare cashback schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity pay provisionsWho Is This Role Ideal For?
