Probate Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will manage a varied probate caseload from start to finish using AI-enabled processes and a case management system. You will work hybrid, collaborating with a growing probate team to deliver an excellent client experience. You’ll handle client communications mainly by phone and email, while mentoring junior colleagues and developing your legal skills. The opportunity sits within a mission-driven, member-owned organisation that is expanding its innovative legal tech platform and estate administration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• own end-to-end probate caseload across varying complexities
• utilise the case management system and AI tools to record information accurately
• engage with clients primarily by telephone and email
• collaborate with specialist support to develop legal skills and receive administrative backing
• mentor junior team members using your legal knowledge

Key requirements

• qualified solicitor or legal executive (CILEX or STEP) or equivalent probate experience
• able to use initiative, prioritise, and organise work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• client-focused approach with ability to build relationships in a remote setting
