Job Vacancy: Production Supervisor Location: Potton, Sandy, Bedfordshire Department: Production Reports to: Senior Supervisor Contract: Permanent, full-time Salary: negotiable depending on experience Working hours: 06:00–14:30, with flexibility for overtime and weekend cover as required Team responsibility: Approximately 14 employees, including Line Leaders and Production Operatives About the Role We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Production Supervisor to join our production team in Potton, Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who can lead a team, maintain high production standards and ensure daily operations run safely, efficiently and in line with quality and food safety requirements.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will oversee a team of approximately 14 Line Leaders and Production Operatives, supporting the smooth running of production activities throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate and support production employees to achieve daily targets and maintain high performance standards.

Production Planning: Ensure production schedules are followed and targets are met efficiently and on time. Quality and Food Safety: Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, food safety and housekeeping in line with company procedures.

Health and Safety: Ensure all team members follow safe working practices and comply with relevant policies and procedures. Performance Management: Monitor productivity, attendance and performance, addressing issues promptly and escalating concerns where appropriate.

Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and minimise downtime. Team Communication: Communicate production priorities, shift handovers and operational updates clearly to the team and senior management.
