Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Location: Lytham St Annes Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (initial Training 8AM-4.30PM) Salary: £16.00PH The Opportunity Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing business based in Lytham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and ensuring production targets are achieved. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the production department, managing machine operators and team leaders, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage the daily activities of the production team. Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved in line with manufacturing plans. Allocate staff and resources effectively to maximise productivity.

Monitor production performance, output and efficiency. Ensure machines and production areas are adequately stocked with materials. Liaise with the Production Planner to manage schedules and resolve any production issues.

Complete and maintain daily production and efficiency reports. Ensure all operators follow health and safety procedures and quality standards. Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the production areas. Monitor staff training and ensure operators are competent to use machinery.

Motivate, support and develop team members, encouraging a positive working environment. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency. Work closely with Quality Control, Engineering, Warehouse and other departments.

What We're Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience in a Production Supervisor or similar supervisory role within manufacturing. Experience managing and motivating a production team. Good organisational and communication skills.

The ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks in a busy environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Experience using Sage or similar business systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
