Project Manager | Buildings | Up to 45,000 Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland's leading multidisciplinary consultancies as they continue to grow their dedicated Project Management team in Belfast.
With an established reputation across the built environment, the business delivers projects across the leisure, education and housing sectors throughout Northern Ireland and beyond. Their Project Management team operates as a standalone discipline within the wider business, providing clients with independent project leadership from inception through to completion.
They are now seeking a Project Manager with approximately 3-5 years' experience to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of building projects. Candidates will be considered from a range of construction backgrounds, including consultancy, contractor and multidisciplinary environments, provided they have demonstrable project management experience.

You will be responsible for: Managing the successful delivery of building projects across a range of sectorsActing as a key point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholdersCoordinating multidisciplinary design teams throughout project deliveryDeveloping and maintaining project programmes, budgets and reporting processesManaging project risks, change control and governance requirementsSupporting procurement and contractor appointment processesChairing project meetings and ensuring actions are delivered within agreed timescalesMonitoring programme, cost and quality objectives throughout deliverySupporting clients in achieving successful project outcomes from inception through to completionWhat you will need to succeed as Project ManagerProject delivery experience:3-5 years' experience delivering construction or building projectsPrevious project management experience within a consultancy, contractor or multidisciplinary environmentA degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineStrong understanding of project delivery, procurement and construction processesExperience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing project programmesProfessional and technical experience: Experience working on building projects across sectors such as education, leisure or housing would be advantageousNEC accreditation or experience administering NEC contracts is desirable but not essentialMembership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional body such as APM, CIOB, RICS, ICE or RIBA would be advantageousPersonal attributes: Strong communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive and organised approach to project deliveryAbility to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a wider teamCommercial awareness and a client-focused mindsetAmbition to develop a long-term career within project managementWhat's in it for you?
