Job Description Property Valuer East Ham We are looking for an experienced Property Valuer to join an established property team based in East Ham .This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with strong local market knowledge and experience carrying out valuations, winning instructions and providing accurate advice to clients.
The role will involve working across a varied residential property portfolio, combining valuation expertise with strong relationship-building and business generation skills. The Role As a Property Valuer, you will be responsible for assessing properties, advising clients and helping to generate new instructions across the local market.
Your responsibilities will include
Conducting residential property valuations and market appraisalsProviding accurate and realistic pricing advice based on current market conditionsWinning new instructions and converting valuation opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and landlordsDeveloping opportunities through existing clients, applicants and local contactsProviding advice on property presentation, marketing and pricing strategiesWorking closely with sales and lettings teams to maximise opportunitiesMonitoring local market activity and competitor performanceKeeping clients updated throughout the marketing and transaction processSupporting negotiations between buyers and sellers where requiredHelping properties progress from instruction through to successful completionMaintaining accurate records and updating relevant property systemsWorking towards individual and team performance targetsRepresenting the business professionally within the local property marketAbout You We're looking for a commercially minded property professional with proven experience in residential valuations.
You should have: Previous experience as a Property Valuer, Senior Negotiator or similar roleStrong knowledge of the East London residential property marketProven experience carrying out valuations and winning instructionsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsConfidence dealing with vendors, landlords, buyers and other stakeholdersA strong track record of achieving sales or valuation targetsA proactive approach to generating new businessStrong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent customer service and relationship-building abilitiesA full UK driving licence would be advantageousThe Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be an experienced property professional who understands that successful valuations require more than simply providing a figure.
You'll be confident discussing market conditions with clients, managing expectations, winning instructions and working closely with the wider property team to maximise opportunities. This role would suit someone who is commercially driven, locally knowledgeable and motivated by achieving results , while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
