Job Description Quantity SurveyorLeicesterCirca £65,000 An Excellent Career Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing contractor specialising in residential groundworks and civil engineering projects for some of the UK's leading housebuilders.
Based in Leicester , this permanent position offers a salary of circa £65,000 plus an excellent benefits package. You'll play a key role in managing the commercial performance of projects, working closely with site teams and clients to ensure schemes are delivered on budget and to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected business that offers long-term career development. Duties & Responsibilities Manage project budgets, cost plans and financial reporting across multiple groundworks projects.
Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, assess completed works and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare valuations, manage subcontractor accounts and support the production of final accounts. Produce accurate forecasts and commercial reports while monitoring project costs and risks.
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery. What Experience is Required? Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks, civil engineering or a similar construction environment.
Strong commercial awareness with experience of valuations, cost control and subcontractor management. Full UK driving licence.
