Job Description Quantity Surveyor Super Prime ResidentialKnightsbridge, LondonA well-established and highly respected super-prime main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a beautiful townhouse refurbishment in Knightsbridge .This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-quality, design-led project within a modern, forward-thinking business known for delivering exceptional private residential schemes across prime central London.
The Role You will take commercial responsibility for a stunning luxury townhouse refurbishment, working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager and project team. The scheme offers the opportunity to be involved from early stages through to completion, managing the commercial process on a detailed, craftsmanship-led project.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the Commercial Manager in the financial delivery of the projectProcurement of specialist subcontract packagesManaging subcontract accounts, variations and valuationsCost reporting, forecasting and risk managementPreparing and agreeing interim applications and final accountsWorking closely with site and design teams to manage commercial performanceMaintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chainThe Company Established super-prime main contractor with an excellent reputation in the marketProjects typically range from £5m £30m across prime central London and the Home CountiesKnown for quality, attention to detail and strong client relationshipsA modern, well-structured and forward-looking business investing in systems, people and long-term growthClear commitment to staff development and career progressionAbout You Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environmentExperience on high-end residential or super-prime projects is desirable, but not essentialStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailGood understanding of procurement and subcontract managementProfessional, client-facing approachAmbition to develop a long-term career within the super-prime sectorThis role would suit either: A QS already working in super-prime or high-end residential, orA strong main contracting QS looking to move into the luxury market.
