Job Description We're looking for a Renewable Energy Systems Designer to join our growing team in Livingston to play a key role in delivering innovative, low-carbon solutions for residential and commercial clients. The remit... Analyse measured energy data and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)Assess and manage the energy performance of new and existing buildingsDevelop carbon reduction, energy efficiency and cost-saving recommendationsDesign future-proof renewable energy systemsOptimise Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump installations for performance, reliability and valueCollaborate with surveyors, retrofit teams, project managers and engineers to deliver successful projectsPrepare technical reports, documentation and compliance submissionsSupport installation teams with troubleshooting and design revisionsManage your own projects and ensure delivery to agreed timescales and standardsIdentify innovative solutions that improve energy performance and sustainability outcomesWhat we're looking for...
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related subjectUnderstanding of energy efficiency, carbon reduction and sustainability principlesKnowledge of Solar PV, Heat Pumps and renewable energy technologiesExperience producing technical designs, reports and recommendationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret and evaluate data from multiple sourcesExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracyStrong organisational and project management skillsUnderstanding of current and emerging legislation within the energy and built environment sectorsOur Package £27,976 base salaryCareer stability with a growing organisation.
