This is not a volume conveyancing factory, the team handles a steady diet of quality residential work. The office is based in a prime Bournemouth location, part of a network of branches that gives the firm coverage across the region.
You will work alongside several highly experienced land lawyers, but the expectation is that you can operate independently from day one. You know how to manage your own files, you understand the Land Registry inside out, and you have probably started to guide more junior colleagues or support staff in a previous role.
There is a clear path here for someone who wants to step up.What you'll be doingManaging a full residential property caseload, from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion mattersHandling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, lease extensions, transfers of equity, and remortgagesAdvising clients clearly and practically, translating legal complexities into plain EnglishWorking collaboratively with experienced colleagues while taking full ownership of your own filesProviding guidance and support to less experienced fee earners and support staffContributing to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and building a local profileAbout youYou are a solicitor or chartered legal executive with at least four years' experience in residential property.
You can run a full caseload without supervision, and you take pride in getting the detail right. You communicate well, both with clients and with colleagues, and you understand that a conveyancing transaction is one of the most important things in a client's life at that moment.
