Job Overview : We're looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales operation from our Colne headquarters.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused leader who is passionate about developing high-performing teams, building strong customer relationships, and delivering ambitious sales growth. You'll be responsible for managing both our internal sales team and our external field sales representatives, ensuring they are motivated, supported, and consistently achieving individual and team sales targets.

Working closely with senior management, you'll develop sales strategies, monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and help shape the future success of Prolight .

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop both the internal sales team and external field sales representatives to maximise performance. Set, monitor , and drive the achievement of individual and team sales targets and KPIs. Conduct regular performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and coaching sessions to develop the sales team.

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow existing accounts and win new business. Monitor sales performance, forecasts, pipelines, and market trends, providing regular reports to senior management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.

Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, customer service, and warehouse teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Support field sales representatives with customer visits, account planning, and business development where required .

Ensure CRM data is maintained accurately and used effectively to manage opportunities and customer relationships. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, efficiency, and overall commercial performance. Oversee pricing, quotations, and commercial negotiations in line with company objectives .

Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Required Skills
