Security Systems Project Engineer

Overview

In this role you oversee the delivery of enterprise security systems projects for a leading facilities management company. You will collaborate with clients, vendors and cross‑functional teams to ensure professional, risk‑aware delivery and maintenance of integrated security solutions.

You’ll conduct site surveys, guide sales with technical input, and develop project plans that align with safety and standards. You will drive continuous improvement, training of engineers and adherence to British and European standards.

This is a customer‑centric, hands‑on role with a focus on quality, safety and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of security systems projects
• Lead by example with proven leadership qualities
• Assist in the training and development of the engineers
• Installation, commissioning and configuration of enterprise level integrated security systems
• Carry out and prepare risk assessments & methods statements
• Work closely with vendors, clients and end users
• Working knowledge of the relevant British and European standards
• Carry out preventative maintenance audit checks where required
• Develop project plans, with project and operational management team
• Carry out site surveys on behalf of sales team providing strong technical guidance
• Compile reports on engineer and site audits
• Identify new technology that could be implemented
