Horizon Teachers are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted rated Outstanding Primary school in Lewisham, starting fromOctober. This role involves supporting pupils across different year groups on a 1:1 and group basis, both in and out of the classroom.
The school is within walking distance to a train station and has parking options available. If you are interested, please apply! What youll be doing Supporting children with SEND so they can access learning and feel confident at school.
Providing personal care if needed (e.g. toileting and helping at mealtimes) Working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and resources to suit individual needs. Encouraging independence, social skills, and self-esteem.
Building trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families. What were looking for Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting. Someone who is flexible and is happy to work across a range of year groups.
A patient, empathetic, and reliable approach to both learning support and personal care. Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a close-knit team. A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best every day.
