SEN Teaching Assistant - Clacton-on-Sea - September Start Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Clacton-on-Sea , starting in September . CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Clacton-on-Sea Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and within small groups Start date - September Duration - Ongoing / Long-term Full time/part-time - Full time Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience supporting children with SEN in a school, alternative provision, care, or similar setting (placements accepted) Knowledge of additional needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language Difficulties, or SEMH is desirable Relevant Teaching Assistant, SEN, or Childcare qualifications are advantageous Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional child-related references OTHER INFORMATION If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
